The Utility Regulatory Authority (URA) is an independent body set up to regulate the utility services, namely electricity, water and wastewater. Its objects are to ensure the sustainability and
viability of utility services; protect the interests of consumers; promote efficiency in both operations and investments in respect of utility services; and promote fair competition in the
utility services industry.
The URA invites application for the post of Director with authority to exercise the powers of the Chief Executive Officer in leading a team of professionals in the field of Licensing and Compliance Monitoring.
Qualifications
A degree in Engineering, Economics or Finance, together with a postgraduate degree in any one of those fields as would be acceptable to the Authority. Professional work experience at
senior management level in a regulatory body and international exposure would be an advantage.
